Arrrggghhh! Thump! I’ve just fallen into another rabbit hole. There I was, minding my own business, happily posting my latest column on EEJournal (it’s called Eeek! GenAI-Powered Design and Verification EDA Tools—thanks for asking), when I saw a post about an Arduino-Based Rubik’s Cube.

All I can say is that this looks very tasty. But this is when I made my big mistake. I tried to search for this video on YouTube. Instead, I found a link to an article on the Instructables website about a LED Rubik’s Cube with Arduino.

And then I found an awesome video about a guy we’ll call Freddie (because that’s his name) who implemented an awesome Arduino-based Rubik’s Cube Solver.

The scary thing is that this is only the tip of the iceberg with respect to the melding of Arduinos and Rubik’s Cubes. I’ve dragged myself away from the YouTube site because I have a fire-fighting day ahead of me. But if you spot any “must see” articles of videos on this topic, please post them in the comments below.
