There are so many interesting things to perceive, peruse, and ponder as you meander your way around the internet that it’s hard to stay abreast of everything.

Fortunately, my chum Charles Pfeil does his best to keep me in the know. For example, he recently pointed me at a thought-provoking column on the Bored Panda website: 50 Times Architects Made Buildings That Look Cool but Were Uncomfortable to Live in or Use. There are some really fascinating images here. Take #3, for example, where the evolution of a building is reflected in its masonry, or #6 in the Netherlands, which made me think how much fun it would be to live there as a kid.

Charles also sent me another link to Bored Panda. This one was to a column about how Two Guys From Germany Decided to Explore This Awesome World, Here Is the Best Of What They’ve Seen so Far (30 Pics). O-M-G! Some of these images are drop-dead gorgeous. I would love to travel to all of these places. I find it impossible to pick a favorite, although #23 looks so amazing that it could almost be an artificial world in a computer game.

And finally, lest you think I’m not pulling my weight, I ran across Ironic Moments That Are Too Good to Be True all on my little old ownsome. This so makes me think of the song Ironic by Alanis Morissette (“It’s like ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife”). I’m hard-pushed here, but I think the “Nothing Is Written In Stone” carved into a piece of stone takes the biscuit, as it were.

How about you? Would you care to share your favorite items from each of the three columns presented above?
