There’s so much interesting information available on YouTube that I could spend the rest of my life wading through it. It’s just a shame that work gets in the way. Fortunately, my friend Jay Dowling keeps me stocked with tempting tidbits of trivia and nifty nuggets of knowledge.
For example, have you seen how astronauts have to take their drinks from pouches because regular cups don’t work in zero gravity (technically, free fall)? Well, Jay recently shared this video about the latest and greatest in space cup technology.

While I was still mentally mulling this over, Jay followed up with this video about how high-voltage circuit breakers work.

I don’t know about you, but whenever I see something like this, I want to learn more. I’m happy that there’s so much to discover, but it saddens me to know that I will only ever scratch the surface of all the amazing things that are out there to know. How about you? Do you have any cool YouTube videos you’d care to share with the rest of us?
