I was just meandering my way around YouTube (as you do) when I encountered this "Thunderstruck" video short of a man playing an awesome instrument made out of plastic tubes.

This is a collection of long PVC pipes of different lengths, arranged so the open ends can be struck with paddles or flip-flops. Each pipe length produces a different pitch. Sometimes it’s nicknamed the “PVC Pipe Organ.”

“I want one of those!” I thought.

It turns out that something like this is the Blue Man Group’s signature homemade instrument (I once saw them in Las Vegas, but I don;t recall them playing this then). I had a quick Google while no one was looking, and came across this video of a home-made version.

“I REALLY want one of those!” I thought.

The problem with YouTube is that there’s always something else to catch your eye. In this case, it was this video titled “These 17 Paradoxes Will Change How You See the Universe.”

All I can say is that the title didn’t mislead or disappoint. This video has indeed changed the way I see the universe. The good news is that I will provide you with the answers to all these paradoxes. The bad news is that this will have to wait until after I finish building my own PVC Pipe Organ.
